Judicial review is a type of court proceeding where a judge reviews the legality of a decision or action made by a public body, in immigration cases as against the Home Office/UKBA or Entry Clearance Office/Secretary of State.
You may be able to have your case funded from the Legal Services Commission (Legal Aid) subject to both a financial and legal merits test.

If you have little or no money, you are likely to be entitled to free legal advice to help with your asylum claim. This is known as 'Legal Help'. We will explain this, and what we can do for you under Legal Help.
If you are not eligible for Legal Help, under the Legal Services Commission Scheme, we will tell you how much we will charge you if you cannot get free advice.
