Our Accreditations

The Law Society's Will and Inheritance Quality Scheme (WIQS) is awarded to firms who are able to provide quality Wills and Estate Administration advice upon which clients can rely. Our membership of this Law Society scheme shows that we follow the best practice procedures to meet the highest standards of technical expertise and client service. SJS Solicitors have been a member of WIQS since November 2015.

The Association of Trust and Probate Specialists was established in 1997 for Solicitors who specialise and have experience in difficult and complex Contentious Probate and Trust legal matters. Members of this association must undertake an extremely intensive qualification course before they can qualify as a member. SJS Solicitors were awarded ACTAPS membership in June 2008.

The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners is regarded as the leading professional association for those advising families in Trust and Estate matters across generations. Membership with STEP demands that it's members provide the best possible advice for families planning their future; from drafting a will to protecting vulnerable family members. SJS Solicitors were awarded membership in April 1998.

LEXCEL is an mark of quality awarded to firms by the Law Society to demonstrate their excellence in legal practice management and excellence in client care. The LEXCEL accreditation ensures that SJS Solicitors maintain high standards in several crucial areas including information management, people management, risk management, client care, file and case management.

The Law Society's Family Law Accreditation is awarded to firms who are able to provide quality family law advice upon which clients can rely. Members of this scheme are required to have a high level of knowledge, skills, experience and practice in the area of family law and must meet the highest standards of technical expertise and client service. SJS Solicitors have been accredited since November 2011.

Resolution members are required to follow a Code of Practice that represents quality Family Law work. Members promote an approach to Family Law that is sensitive, constructive, cost-effective and most likely to result in a ‘resolution’ of the issues at hand. Resolution emphasises that members must always consider the needs of entire families. SJS Solicitors were awarded membership in November 2012.

We are proud to have achieved the standards of practice and integrity required to be accredited by the Law Society's Conveyancing Quality Scheme, a quality mark that indicates to clients that they can trust us. Our conveyancing solicitors work diligently to ensure that your property transaction is carried out as quickly and as smoothly as possible. SJS Solicitors have been accredited since September 2016.

The Law Society's Immigration and Asylum Law Accreditation is awarded to firms who have an extremely thorough understanding of the UK's immigration and asylum laws. SJS Solicitors are proud to hold Level 2 membership, and our Principal Solicitor, Mrs. Sukul, holds supervisor status with over 17 years of experience fighting for her client's immigration rights. SJS Solicitors have been accredited since January 2006.
