Over 19 years ago Savita Sukul purchased the premises located at 82, Balham High Road, London, SW12 9AG and established the firm Wills & Legal Services. She ran that law firm successfully for over 5 years during which she made a decision to establish a firm of Solicitors. Her ambition bore fruit in April 2004 when she opened this firm, SJS Solicitors in the same building that housed her original firm Wills & Legal Services. Today, SJS Solicitors, under the stewardship of its Principal Solicitor and owner, Mrs Savita Sukul, enjoys an utterly unblemished reputation and record with the Law Society, the governing body of the Solicitors' profession.
Mrs Sukul qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court in 2003 and has provided legal services to the public without interruption since that date. She has never had a complaint to the Law Society upheld against her. Her professional reputation is has spread globally, as she has had professional interactions with clients from every continent of the globe. In 2012 she was appointed as a Super Lawyer by the Thompson Reuters Rising Star programme.

She is a member of ACTAPS, the Association of Trusts & Probate Specialists as well as a member of WIQS, the Law Society’s Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme.
Mrs Sukul’s professional repertoire extends to Family Law. She has been accredited by Resolution as a specialist family lawyer with particular specialisms in domestic abuse and private children law. Members of Resolution are required to follow a Code of Practice that represents the cornerstone of Family Law work. Additionally, Mrs Sukul achieved Family Law Accreditation and Membership of the Law Society Family Law Panel in November 2011. Membership of this Panel denotes a high level of knowledge, skills, experience in areas of Family Law, that she must maintain throughout her professional practice.
Another area in which Mrs Sukul specialises is in Immigration and Asylum law. Her experience dates back to 1999. She has been an accredited member of the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Scheme since 2006 and has achieved Supervisor status in this area of law. She has specialist skills and knowledge in every aspect of Immigration and UK Nationality Law.
Mrs Sukul’s membership of the Law Society Conveyancing Quality Mark confirms her professional competence in Conveyancing as offered by her firm SJS Solicitors. She piloted her firm to LEXEL standards that is monitored and maintained regularly.
